Privacy Policy
Pulse Terminal AI, LLC · Effective October 2, 2026 · Version 2026-10-02
What Pulse collects, who it goes to, how long it is kept, and how to ask us about it. We do not sell personal information and run no advertising trackers. One partner tracker, Somo Financial's, runs only for Circle One members while they use Pulse Patriot. Effective October 2, 2026.
Who we are and who this covers
Pulse Terminal AI, LLC ("Pulse", "we") operates Pulse Terminal AI, including the Patriot and Healthcare lenses. One mailbox handles support, privacy and data requests: pulseterminalai@gmail.com.
Pulse is intended for people in the United States and is not directed at the EU or UK. It is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will act on it.
What you give us
- Account identity, through our sign-in provider Clerk: your email address, name if you give it, and how you sign in. If a partner invited you, Clerk also holds which partner and invitation brought you.
- Profile: first name, date of birth, age, invested amount, experience level, risk tolerance, goal, time horizon, income range, net-worth range, loss comfort, dependents, emergency fund, high-rate debt, retirement-match status, state of residence, retirement target age, and occupation. Occupation (for example veteran or healthcare) selects the Patriot or Healthcare lens. Also your investing preferences, such as target return, acceptable drawdown, stop-loss and position limits, and whether options, shorts or leveraged ETFs are allowed.
- Your positions (including cost basis), lists, alerts and financial plans. In Patriot, plans use VA benefits and military inputs. In Healthcare, they use loan and compensation inputs.
- Feedback you send us, with the page you sent it from, any ticker it is about, and your browser's user-agent string.
- Waitlist form: email, name, how you heard of us, an optional note, and first-touch campaign attribution (see below).
- Contact form: name, email, company and message.
- Ask Pulse conversations and any screenshots you attach. They are stored under your account. Position import also reads a screenshot you upload; that screenshot is not stored.
- Records we keep about your account: which version of these documents you accepted and when, which lens you were assigned and any change to it, and which partner invitation (if any) brought you to Pulse.
- When paid features are offered: your billing address, which Stripe collects at checkout to calculate tax.
What we collect automatically
- Sign-in sessions: a Clerk session id for each login.
- Activity in the app: the pages you visit and the searches you run. Your browser queues them briefly and sends them to us, and they are stored with your account.
- First-touch attribution: kept in your browser for 90 days. It holds campaign (utm) tags, the name of an ad click-id parameter (never its value), the referring host, the landing path and the date first seen. It is sent with our funnel counters, which carry only a random per-visit id and are not linked to your account, and with a waitlist request if you make one. See the Cookie Notice.
- IP address: our hosting provider receives it with every request. We use it to rate-limit invitation links and direct API calls. We do not store visitors' IP addresses in our database; when Pulse staff use the admin area, their own IP address is logged.
Sensitive information
Some of what you can enter is sensitive financial or personal information: income and net-worth ranges, military or veteran status, occupation, and loan figures. You provide it voluntarily. We use it to tailor what you see and to run the calculators you ask for.
Disability and health details are handled under their own notice. In Patriot and the military part of your plan you may enter VA and DoD disability ratings, TDIU and special monthly compensation, and whether a spouse, survivor or child has a disability. We ask for your consent first, and without it we don't use them. See the Consumer Health Data Notice.
When you use Ask Pulse, context drawn from your profile, holdings and financial plans, and in Patriot or Healthcare the benefit, loan and compensation details you entered (including disability details only if you agreed), may be sent to OpenAI to produce an answer. Leave out anything you do not want included. Do not enter information about patients.
How we use it
- To run the service: sign you in, store your positions, lists, alerts and plans, and show the Patriot or Healthcare lens that fits you.
- To answer your Ask Pulse questions and read screenshots you import.
- To support you and to keep the service secure, including rate-limiting and investigating abuse.
- To understand how the product is used, through our own funnel counters (not linked to your account) and the activity records described above.
- To process payments and meet tax and accounting obligations, when paid features are offered.
- To reply to messages you send.
Who at Pulse can see it
Pulse staff with admin access can open an individual user's activity timeline (sign-ins, page views, searches, positions, alert and list events, and feedback) and can read the full text of Ask Pulse conversations, waitlist requests and contact-form messages. We use this for support, quality and security. Every admin access is logged.
Service providers
We use these providers to run Pulse. Each receives only what it needs for its job. The table also lists Somo Financial, a partner rather than a provider, which receives usage events from Circle One members on Pulse Patriot.
| Provider | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk | Sign-in | Your email, name if given, sign-in method and session information, and for partner invitations the referring partner and invitation |
| Circle One | Partner sign-in for Circle One members (see below) | Nothing from Pulse about you. It sends us your name, email address, profile picture and member ID when you sign in through it. Usage events from Circle One members on Pulse Patriot go to Somo Financial (next row) |
| Somo Financial | The company behind Circle One. It receives a share of revenue from customers it introduces to Pulse. Its tracker runs only for Circle One members, only on Pulse Patriot pages (see below) | Sent directly from your browser to collect.somo.financial: page views by generic page name, the time, a random per-tab session id, your browser's user-agent string, the referring site, and the Circle One arrival, Patriot sign-up, free-unlock and checkout events. Somo's server also receives your IP address. Never your name, email, account id or card details |
| Google (Gmail) | Sending invitation and account-access emails, and delivering in-app feedback to our team | Your email address and the invitation or sign-in link; for feedback, your email or account id, your message, the page and any ticker |
| Vercel | Website hosting | Requests to the site, including IP address and browser details |
| Railway | Application servers | Data your account sends to the application while it runs |
| Neon | Database | Your stored account data, as described in this policy |
| Cloudflare | DNS | Domain lookups for our site |
| OpenAI | Ask Pulse, and portfolio, macro and company-description generation | Your prompts and screenshots you attach (in Ask Pulse and in position import), with context drawn from your profile, holdings and financial plans and, in Patriot or Healthcare, the benefit, loan and compensation details you entered. When web search is on, OpenAI may run web searches for your question. We ask OpenAI not to store these requests; OpenAI may still keep them for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse. OpenAI receives a coded identifier for your account, not your account id or email. |
| Stripe | Payments, when paid features are live | Payment and billing details you enter at checkout, including the billing address used to calculate tax, plus your Pulse account id and which product you bought. Pulse never sees your full card number. |
| Market and reference data sources (Tiingo, Yahoo Finance and the others listed in the Disclosures) | Prices, fundamentals, filings, news and reference data | Ticker symbols and similar identifiers only, never user data |
We may also disclose information where the law requires, to protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer such as a merger or sale, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data until you are told otherwise.
No selling, no ad tracking
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We run no advertising trackers. The one third-party analytics tracker is Somo Financial's, and it runs only for Circle One members while they use Pulse Patriot (see "If you sign in through Circle One" below). Pulse does not currently read Global Privacy Control signals.
How long we keep it, and closing your account
We keep your data while your account is active.
To close your account, email pulseterminalai@gmail.com from the address you sign in with. We disable your sign-in, so the account can no longer be accessed. The data is retained in our database. We do not delete it. We do not show it to other users or use it for marketing. Payment and tax records are kept as the law requires.
We want to be plain about the limit of this: closing an account does not currently delete your name, your Ask Pulse text, your attached images, your profile ranges (such as income and net worth), your positions and cost basis, or your occupation from our systems.
Your choices and rights
Until in-app tools exist, email pulseterminalai@gmail.com to ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, export it, or close your account. We respond within 45 days.
If you live in a state with a privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you, which can include access, correction, deletion, portability and opting out of sale or targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising them. We do not currently offer deletion of closed-account data. If you ask for deletion, we will tell you in our reply what we can and cannot do.
We may need to confirm it is you before acting on a request. You can also use an authorized agent where the law allows.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Access is scoped to your own account. Our hosting providers apply their own protections. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
If you use Patriot or Healthcare
The same policy applies. In Patriot, VA and military inputs you enter are stored in your account like any other plan. We do not receive records from the VA or the Department of Defense, and we are not affiliated with either. In Healthcare, loan and compensation inputs are stored the same way. Pulse is not a HIPAA covered entity; do not enter patient information.
If you sign in through Circle One
Circle One members can sign in to Pulse Patriot with their Circle One account. When you do, Circle One sends us your name, email address (and whether Circle One has verified it), profile picture and Circle One member ID. We use them to create or find your Pulse account and sign you in. We keep a record of the link between your Circle One and Pulse accounts and of each sign-in through Circle One, including any we turned away and why. An account created this way opens Pulse Patriot.
Circle One is run by Somo Financial, which receives a share of revenue from customers it introduces to Pulse. We do not send Circle One or Somo your name, email address or account details. While you use Pulse Patriot, your browser sends usage events directly to Somo's collector, collect.somo.financial. This happens only for accounts that came to Pulse through Circle One sign-in, and only on Pulse Patriot pages. It never happens for other Pulse users, on other Pulse products, on public pages, or on the sign-in pages. What your browser sends:
- Each page you view, by a generic page name such as /patriot/stocks/[tier]. Never the query string, a ticker or an id.
- The time.
- A random session id, kept in your browser's session storage under _somo_sid. It is not a cookie and is cleared when you close the tab.
- Your browser's user-agent string.
- The site that sent you, such as mycircleone.com, when you came from another site. Only the site, not the page.
- These events: arriving from Circle One, finishing the Patriot sign-up questions, unlocking picks with free unlocks (how many, and how many free unlocks are left), and starting and completing a checkout, with the product (for example picks or the crypto pass), the price paid and the quantity.
Your browser does not send Somo your name, email address, Pulse or Clerk user id, payment card details, Stripe session ids, or anything about other Pulse users. As with any request to another company's server, Somo's server receives your IP address.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a material way, we will give it a new effective date, tell you in the app, and ask you to accept it again where the law requires.
